Renovating Driveways in West Yorkshire – for Mr Andy Cartlidge – Horsforth
WHAT WE DID:
Our brief was to renovate, widen and resurface the front driveway to Mr Cartlidge’s property in Horsforth.
In order to extend and relay the driveway Yorkshire Resin Company had to excavate approximately 30 sq m of the sub-base to lay new foundations on which to lay the extended driveway.
The driveway was customised for Mr Cartlidge by the addition of a Yorkshire stone border around the perimeter designed to coordinate with the existing borders and path. The Yorkshire Resin Company also built a new wall and erected a small fence to create an area where any bins could be stored out of sight.Mr Cartlidge chose the Britney Pea finish with charcoal blocks from our extensive selection of surfaces.
The Yorkshire Resin Company removed the old wall and built a new one on a new foundation. We sourced the coping stones from a local quarry specialising in Yorkshire stone in order to ensure that the new installation would blend in with the existing stone path and borders.
The whole project took just 10 days to transform the front of the property by widening and resurfacing the driveway thus creating an open and welcoming entrance to the house.
Mr Cartlidge was delighted with the outcome and has written a testimonial letter to thank The Yorkshire Resin Company for a job well done.
