Technical Issue: Incorrect sub base and bad installation

Outcome: A charity run organisation taken for over 15k by this locally sourced company and left with sub-standard work with a guarantee worth less than the paper it's printed on.

Technical Issue: Incorrect sub base , bad preparation , poor choice of materials and bad installation.

Outcome: Had the resin gone down over this badly prepared job the finished surface would have failed in many ways in a matter of months.

Technical Issue: Technical issue- inadequate sub base, badly prepared, wrong resin for stone choice.

Outcome: Outcome- this drive way has been down 6 months and the car has worn the resin bound away down to the concrete installed underneath. The whole driveway needs to be pulled out and to be done again from scratch.

Technical Issue: Badly laid resin

Outcome: A very uneven surface

Technical Issue: Way way too much aggregate to resin , ratios and the aggregate size completely wrong and has been laid over an uncleaned, un-primed existing concrete surface resulting in the aggregate coming lose under foot traffic. The resin has also micro foamed giving it a white appearance due to being laid in wet conditions.

Outcome: This Harrogate based company is becoming a regular on our horror stories page.

Technical Issue: Too much aggregate mixed with the resin(incorrect ratios) laid over incorrect sub base (flags & pebbles)

Outcome: The aggregate (gravel) is coming loose and weeds are pushing up through the finished resin surface due to bad preparation and execution.

Technical Issue: Surface failure due to incorrect resin to stone ratios.

Outcome: In less than 2 years the drive has lost most of its colour and is cracking and crumbling

Technical Issue: Wrong resin laid over a surface that had not been prepared and primed. Preparation is essential when overlaying on concrete.

Outcome: After 18 months the resin had totally worn away from traffic heavy areas, and it was crumbling away with what was left.

Technical Issue: Bad preparation, the worst preparation we have ever seen just 1-2 inches of concrete smeared over mud. Shocking!

Outcome: Not only would this job have looked awful, once used for parking it would have probably started to fail within weeks.

Outcome: Had the resin been applied the driveway would have probably started to fail within 1-2 years.
