Size and Shape

The square meter dimensions of the driveway will have fluctuate the price you pay per square meter, for example the larger the driveway surface area the overall cost per square meter you pay should reduce, but more time and labour that’s needed will have an impact on the price too, there is a fine balance.

The current base and condition

If your current driveway is tarmac or concrete and is in good condition then it’s likely that resin can be overlaid onto the surface which should vastly reduce the cost, if you have a different surface type such as block paving or if the tarmac and concrete isn’t in the best of conditions such as cracks and sink holes then the surface will need to be dug up and the right sub base will need to be layered to the correct specifications.

Manholes and Steps

Sometimes it’s the little things that people miss when pricing up a new resin driveway, if you have manholes on the driveway then these come at a cost, if the driveway leads right up to property then you may need to add in a new resin step so the driveway and walkway flows correct and is pleasing on the eye.
